To start with, a quick post from yesterday. Our Aaron has this thick head of naturally curly hair that looks amazing most of the time- and even better when he takes off his toque after playing outside! Who else gets hathead that looks this good?
Next is Isabel concentrating hard on her new weaving project. Grandpa M. Built her this table loom and she’s decided to make a headband. Pretty cute.
And now for the change: the boys’ room is painted! The steps leading to this have been long in coming. We naively hoped to have it *done* for last Christmas, but only made it to the flooring stage after finding the floor underneath the carpet and multiple layers of unusual pieces of plywood needed to be completely replaced first. A big job. Anyway- much has been done between then & now including installation of potlights in this room and wired-in overbed lights, a load of drywall patching and sanding. And probably a whole lot more that I’m not aware of. Baseboards and trim tomorrow. Then onto the next room!
Eli played his first real game tonight too as he managed to find pairs in Memory. Good times!
And I finally finished my Babylegs for Nate. I find pictures of slippers and such look so much better on a real live body than flat out on a table or couch- so I’m going to hold off until I can show off some sweet chubby legs in them.
