My first dahlia bouquet! My camera is not doing justice to the true colours- they’re pretty brilliant. I planted about 50 tubers that I picked up at a roadside stand last March. Actually, the man told me to fill my bags (I think I left with about 10 shopping bags bulging full and spilling all over the back of the truck! I never can resist a bargain.) Plus I dreamed of a big roadside stand of our own. There are still lots to open up so we’ll see what they look like next week.
