Live Your Life On Purpose

My life and health journey

In the past, and honestly sometimes even now, I feel like I go through the motions of life. I'd sit on my couch, do my homework, answer some emails, go to the store, eat my food, shower, and go to bed. No drive. No desire. Really no life. All that changed one day when I read a book(You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero) and one of the lines was "you need to start living your life on purpose". And it hit me. I've been running around too stressed out to even think about why I'm doing the things I'm doing. So I took charge of my life and decided that step one for me was to get my mental and physical health in check, and to be sure I was purposefully do every action I do every day. 

I wasn't the girl who was athletic growing up. Heck, I still wouldn't call myself athletic. Sure I did cross country and track and dance, but hand me a ball and I am toast.

I didn't do sports for the competition and the winning. I did them because I struggle with depression and anxiety on top of being autistic. My mental health needed some help, and I found it through taking care of my physical health (along with my therapy and meds of course). 

Now, I continue to live a healthy lifestyle through fitness and nutrition programs. Being the autistic girl I am, I love having a schedule and goals for myself. These programs are planned out for me so I have less stress and work to do. All I do is set a time to start my routine and press play. Its kinda the best thing I could ask for. And I'd love for you to join me in the journey.
